The project Competitive Romania

The Romanian Government launched public debates on the project “Competitive Romania” at Romanian Academy House. RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance was represented at this event by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI – Vice President of RAISA.

“Competitive Romania” is a project for sustainable economic growth with the object to define a vision of actions “aimed to put Romania on the path of sustainable development.” The debates focused on several objectives: promoting return migration through informing the diaspora online and through Romania’s diplomatic missions, eliminating administrative obstacles for Romanian who wish to return to their country, developing programs that support entrepreneurship in Romania funded through the Human capital Operational Program (POCU) 2014-2020, and a more flexible admission for non EU/CEE citizens in order to attract highly skilled personnel.

Today debates focused on European funds, especially on the process of simplifying the submission and implementation of projects financed from European Structural and Investment Funds. For a faster process of submitting the project it is developed the system MySMIS.
