Digital Agenda: European Month of Cybersecurity Seminar

ENISA and CERT-RO organized on April 21, 2015 a seminar on Cyber Security Month (European Cyber Security Month). RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance was represented by Assist.Prof.Dr. Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI – Vice President of RAISA.

The purpose of this seminar was to identify partners in Romania for the implementation and promotion of ENISA activity from european level to national level. The discussions were held about ENISA projects and activities in Bucharest, focusing on public-private partnerships.


The discussions focused on the project European Cybersecurity Month – a European project started 3 years ago, which succeded last year to attract more than 30 countries, including Romania.

The topics presented at this event were European public policy context, NIS (Network and Information Security) projects in education and the pillars of ENISA activity. Daria Catalui from ENISA had focused on education, supporting a better cooperation between public and private entities for common benefits. Education is a basic pillar in the online world, in order to promote skills and training in digital field.

In the second part of the seminar Romanian National Computer Security Incident Response Team – CERT-RO presented public-private partnership in NIS (Network and Information Security).

This seminar provided the opportunity for a mutual and constructive exchange of ideas in order to improve education at European standards in the digital process.
