Volume 2, Issue 1 of IJISC was published

The first issue of IJISC – International Journal of Information Security and Cybercrime on 2013 was published on 28th June.

IJISC – International Journal of Information Security and Cybercrime is a biannual scientific publication edited by Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance with professors from Police Department – Police Academy of Bucharest and Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology – University Politehnica of Bucharest. The journal has the purpose of analyzing information, computers and communications security and identifying new valences of cybercrime phenomenon.

In the section Cyber- Attacks Evolution and Cybercrime Trends, Romanian National Computer Security Incident Response Team – CERT -RO has compiled an analysis of cyber security incidents in the first quarter of 2013. CERT -RO implemented a procedure for cyber security incident management and the centralized situation of the victims affected by cyber incidents is presented in the article Analysis of Cyber ​​Security Incidents First Quarter of 2013.

In Book Reviews and Conferences Analysis section it is presented the book “Internet Services”, written by members of the Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance – Angelica-Beatrice BACIVAROV, Costel CIUCHI and Gabriel PETRICĂ. The book presents an overview of the concept of the Internet: purpose, technical equipments, services, protocols, applications, security risks and vulnerabilities.
