On 21 May 2014 the workshop “Information Security in Office Applications – 2nd Edition” was organised at Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest. The workshop was organized by RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance and it was organised in the research project “Studies on Implementing Safety Masures in order to Ensure Information Security”.

The purpose of this workshop was to secure information in Microsoft Office applications on multiple levels of security.

The workshop was managed by Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance by the following representatives:

The workshop “Access to Education and Information through Internet” was held from 12 to 14 May 2014 in the research project “Studies on Modern Methods of Publishing Information in Online Environment”. The workshop was organized by RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance and it was coordinated by dipl.-ing. Gabriel PETRICĂ.

At the event held at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the University Politehnica of Bucharest. The event promoted technologies that allow free access to information available in Internet. The huge amount of information available to users facilitates the development of modern concepts of distance education (e-learning), information sharing through social networks, access to published documents in the cloud and streaming multimedia.

After the themes evaluation (in terms of artistic and technical achievement and of the presentation), winners were nominated as DUMITRU Vlad Andrei (online system for text and multimedia presentation) and NICOLAE Andrei (managing an online store).

RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance held during 14 to 15 May 2013 the workshop “Technologies for Websites Development”.

The purpose of this workshop was practical implementation of concepts such as website layouts, HTML tags and Javascripts.

The event was attended by 38 students from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from University Politehnica of Bucharest and was coordinated by dipl.-ing. Gabriel PETRICĂ. Without a required topic, all participants made websites on various topics and technologies like HTML 5.0, Javascript, Flash and PHP.

The evaluation committee awarded Mr. ROȘESCU Radu with a diploma for the best work done and presented in this workshop.
