Cybercrime Platform

The cybercrime platform was developed in the project Protection of Computer Systems Against Cybercrime Phenomenon. The project objective was developing a platform for communicating important information regarding latest cyber attacks and methods of protection against them in order to provide to the public effective methods to prevent and to combat the phenomenon of cybercrime. The project was coordinated by Assist. Professor Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI, PhD.

The platform is an online platform that focuses on cybercrime phenomenon, presents publications and events in cybercrime field (scientific sessions, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.), useful tools in online cybercrime investigations and a discussion forum.

The web portal contains the following categories:

  • Security alerts;
  • Legislation on cybercrime;
  • Computer vulnerabilities;
  • Computer crimes;
  • Types of attacks on Internet;
  • Computer crime investigation techniques;
  • Methods for prevention and combating cybercrime;
  • Computer systems security methods;
  • Latest news in cybercrime field.

The web portal represents a communication platform between cybercrime investigation experts and users interested to improve or to update their knowledge in this field. It presents the latest news in online attacks, software vulnerabilities and cybercrime forensics and explains different techniques to prevent and to combat cybercrime phenomenon.

The platform provides a discussion forum to encourage communication between users interested in crime information.


The web portal is developed under the aegis of RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance and represents the Association Official Channel in cybercrime.
